JMM Mumbai had organized a one-day picnic with family and friends on 29th january 2023, Sunday to a beautiful MANDVI RESORT in Virar.
It was a memorable day with the support of 43 members. Bus service was provided free. Mamtaben Randeria started the bus from Bandra Talav picking up all the members from different places and reaching resort at 9:00am. Mataji’s arti with stuti and antaakshari was sung in bus. All were given Dry fruits, Amul milk, masala sev mamra and cake in the bus.
All were so excited after reaching the resort and also took group photos. Lemon Sharbat was served as a welcome drink in the resort. After settling down, members went to have hot breakfast of Upma, ldli, Chutney, Sambhar, Jalebi, Papdi with tea/coffee.
Everyone dispersed and went in the pool to enjoy and have fun with their family and friends. Resort had big & small pools, Slides, Raindance, Waterfalls, etc.
Around 11:00am, hot manchow soups with live dosa’s, popcorns, candy floss, ice golas were served.
Lunch was served at 2pm. After lunch, all members gathered to play games like housie, musical bread/butter, passing the balloons. All the winners and also the kids were given prizes.
JMM gave a small hand purse to all the ladies member as a memento. In between games, tea/coffee with Cadbury chocolates were served.
The whole atmosphere was filled with laughter, masti and chitchatting.
Pavbhaji, Bhel, Fried rice was served as early dinner. After dinner all the members thanked President Mamtaben Randeria, Vice President Sonal Wankawala and committee members Jyotiben Chapatwala, Kashmiraben Mehta and Binitaben Shtoff for making their day memorable and returned home promising to meet again soon for another fun-filled event.
