This Charity Drive was conducted at “The Mother Teresa’s Missionaries home for sick and dying destitute women”. These homeless women are found on the roads of Mumbai, brought to the Missionary, irrespective of their caste or religion & taken care of by the Missionary Sisters.
As the summer season had started, Jagruti Mahila Mandal Committee Members today visited the Missionary to distribute the kits containing Cotton Nighties & Talcum Powder Bottles to the destitute old and sick women. The sisters at the missionary were very helpful and loving. All the old ladies were very emotional & happy to see us. They were grateful for the gifts & thanked us profusely.
The Jagruti Mahila Mandal President and it’s Committee Members actively participated in the Charity Drive.
