The Annual Shravan Month Tirth Yatra Trip was successfuly organized by the JMM Management Team on 5th August 2016 to 6th August 2016.
This year’s trip was to Trambakeshwar( Nasik ) and Shirdi. The auspicious trip started with a welcome speech by Prabhaben Patel( President ). Mrs. Jignasa Patel rendered beautiful Bhajans & all the members accompanied her in singing. The aarti was sung and prasad packets of dry fruits & sweets were distributed. Breakfast was arranged at a Jain Derasar Complex at Shahpur. The bus journey continued with Jyoti Chapatwala & Deepa Khatiwala hosting a unique game of housie having different Lord Krishna’s names. Reached Trambakeshwar and everyone got a good Darshan of the holy Shivling. A short pooja was also performed by temple priest in which everybody participated. Thereafter, a delicious lunch of Gujarati Thali was partaken at Panchwati Delite Restaurant.
The journey towards Shirdi then continued amidst lot of fun & frolic and also more games hosted by Mamta Randeria. Reached Shirdi in the evening and rooms were allotted to all the members at Dwarwati Bhaktiniwas Shirdi Sansthan. Dinner was arranged at Shirdi Sansthan Prasadi Centre.
Next day, Breakfast was served of special items ordered from Surat. After breakfast, everyone proceeded to the Sai Baba Temple for Baba’s Darshan. Everybody did the Darshan easily as VIP passes were given to them by the Mandal. All the ladies did the Darshan of Hanuman Temple, Baba’s Chavdi & Dwarkamai Temple. The arrangements of Trambakeshwar & Shirdi like VIP passes for Darshan, food & rooms were done by Ajaybhai Boghawala & Dipikaben Boghawala. Ajaybhai Boghawala & Kaminiben Bamania honoured Prabhaben with a bouquet and a shawl. Ajaybhai was also honoured & thanked with a bouquet and a shawl by Daminiben Dhabuwala on behalf of the JMM. A Gift was given to Kaminiben Bamania by Jagruti Asmani and Madhvi Modi. Prabhaben also gave a gift for Dipikaben Boghawala to Ajaybhai as token of Thanks.
After an hour of shopping, it was time for return journey. Delicious Gujarati Lunch was arranged at Pangat Thali – Nashik. Mamta Randeria, Varshaben Lapsiwala and Jyoti Chapatwala hosted the game of Share Bazaar which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Then it was time for our national pastime ‘Antakshri’. Teatime was at a highway restaurant where special masala tea was prepared by Mrs. Pravina Modi. Sprite Cold-Drink Bottles, Apples, Chocolates were distributed on both the days in the bus by the Comittee Members – Jagruti Asmani, Madhavi Mody, Deepa Khatiwala, Jyoti Chapatwala and Jayeshreeben Dadarwala. Last but not the least, specially ordered surati specialities like ‘Sarasia Khaja’ and ‘Rava Ladoos’ were distributed to all the members as late evening snack. The JMM committee thanks Mrs. Minaxiben Bodawala( SMV Mahila Mandal President – Surat ) for arranging these surati specialities for us. Free gift of a set of three travel pouches was sponsored by Prabhaben Patel and Madhaviben Modi for all the trip members.
The journey ended with a beautifully worded vote of thanks speech by Varshaben Lapsiwala. Jagruti Asmani thanked Varshaben Lapsiwala for her speech and support to our current JMM Team. The whole trip was co-sponsored by Prabhaben Patel, Ajaybhai Boghawala and Dipikaben Boghawala.
The JMM Comittee thanks all its trip members who helped them on this trip. Thus, the latest JMM event was successfuly executed by its team under the leadership of its erstwhile President Prabhaben Patel.
